Call for a Revolution

Abstract

The poem talks about the struggles and sacrifices, made by our forefathers to revolt against the tyrannical and autocratic authorities and establish democracy and freedom in the society. However, eventually due to our lack of vision and apathy, the society could not sustain justice and freedom particularly for the weaker sections of the society. The poet calls the youths of today to rise up in revolution once again, against the injustice and exploitation prevalent in the society. The poet challenges the young generation to take up the flag of mission and re-establish justice and freedom in the society in the truest sense of the term.
